Proof that the Twitter hype is nothing new. This is Hugh McLeod’s Gaping Void cartoon from two years ago! Claran Norris dredged it up in a post this week on Search Engine Land.

And for those who thought my tweet about hitting 100,000 followers was gauche, at least I didn’t put out a press release!

    If I recall correctly this is the one he posted just before he “Quit Twitter forever”. It didn't last long, Twitter is hard to leave behind.

    If you can get Keith Olberman to take it a little more seriously, you would really be doing a service to humanity. Why are old school journalists such laggers?? He gave Twitter the Worst Person Award last night. geez. ps- Hugh has more foresight than most.
